Balloons found...

Several people have emailed touching messages about finding balloons.  The following notes came from Vicki and Allan's...
---
R in Katy:
Happy birthday, Tara. Your purple balloon landed in my back yard this afternoon. I'm on Braken Manor Lane in Katy.
---
A in Richmond:
I Received your blessing this morning at Pecan Grove Plantation Country Club, Richmond,TX
---
L in Richmond:
Thanks for sending over Tara's angel today; it was a special moment for me. HAPPY BIRTHDAY, Tara! I, too, live in Richmond (Pecan Grove.)  My guess is that yesterday's weather didn't get my balloon too far?  I stepped out front to check my mail when I got home from work and saw it in my garden by the flowers.  I was having kind of a rough day (I was crying) and then I read the note telling me I had just been touched by an angel.  So, thank you Tara...

Thank you

Thanks to everyone who participated in the launch yesterday, and also to those who were able to send photos. We'll be posting those over the next few days along with the messages that have been trickling in from people who found the balloons!

Tara's 30th Birthday - June 19, 2012

Once again we are having our  annual remembrance of Tara’s birthday.  Tara would have been 30 years old this Tuesday, June 19th.

We thank you all for being a part of the balloon launches throughout the past 8 years. If you would like to participate again, all you need to do is get a purple helium balloon, print and cut out one of the notes attached to this email and tie it to the end of the balloon string.  You may want to laminate or put the note in a small plastic baggie and then release it in honor of her day wherever you are.

You may also want to put a message on the back of the note indicating where you released the balloon and perhaps your name or initial.  It is always interesting to see who sent the balloon and from where – you’d be surprised how much it actually means to the people who find the launched balloons as well.

On Tara's blog we have collected photos of past balloon launches.  We are hoping that you will continue to send us your balloon launch pictures so that we can post them onto her website. If you have pictures you can forward from past years we would be very excited to receive them as well.  We also love to hear the stories of your balloon launches that we can post or leave message on the blog if you would like. Thank you to Megan H. who has done such an amazing job of designing and maintaining the blog.

We still miss our wonderful Tara every single day.  Our family appreciates the
kindness, care, support and friendship we have continued to receive throughout the past 8 years.

Thank you for helping us celebrate and remember Tara on her birthday.

With much gratitude,

The Tanner Family
